On Saturday the 1st we'll have a stall in Stonehouse High Street selling beautiful handmade gifts. The gifts have all been made by clients of Independence Trust. The money raised will go towards the work we do to support people with mental health and wellbeing.

Equine therapy can have positive results for people struggling with Depression and Anxiety. Independence Trust have teamed up with The Gloucester Team & HHPDA (Horses Helping People with Depression & Anxiety) and are pleased to say that we've been awarded funding from Gloucester Thriving Communities Fund provided by Gloucestershire County Council.

We've launched a new partnership with Stroud Jobcentre Plus and the results are looking good, 11 referrals to our service in the last three weeks. But what's it all about?

Well, visits to Job Centres are focused around employment/benefit advice and services, they also present an ideal opportunity to discuss existing mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and Autism Spectrum Condition. Conditions that could be playing a part in finding employment more difficult.
